What is Automated Controls Training?

Many of the productivity gains from the last decade have come from continued improvements in automation of a company’s processes. Manufacturing is the traditional user of automated controls, but other users cover a wide range of industries, including public utilities, entertainment, mining & raw material extraction, as well as the life sciences.

Training is required for the maintenance technicians, operators, and skilled trades involved with operating and troubleshooting the systems controlled through automation. As the technologies change and as old systems are changed or replaced, continued training must occur for the initial gains to be maintained.
