CBIL has developed working relationships with a number of companies and governmental agencies that complement CBIL services. Please consider these companies and organizations in your search for resources.

Workforce and Community Development:

• Employment and Training Center (ETC) – Supporting the area’s workforce through retraining and outplacement efforts. • Metropolitan Education Training Center (MET) – An innovative collaboration among state and local government, St. Louis Community College, and other community based agencies. • Community Workforce Partnerships (CWP) – Providing services to assist workers enter and remain competitive in the marketplace. Initiatives that expand the scope of services to businesses, acknowledging and addressing the shifts in marketplace requirements.

• SLATE Career Center - Services including career counseling, job placement, referral to skills training, and on-the-job training. http://www.stlworks.com

State Agencies:

• Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This State of Missouri Department is a source for underwriting the cost of training. CBIL is a long time writer of DESE grant applications. http://www.dese.mo.gov/
• Division of Workforce Development. DWD has numerous resources for employers and job seekers. DWD is also a source for grants which underwrite the cost of training. CBIL is an experienced writer of DWD grant applications. http://ded.mo.gov/wfd/
